Behind the Lines

Jane Austen, a woman with drive and creation, is today an overly loved English writer. Austen’s life was not an easy life, but she did have the support of her family, and the creation of her mind to create her well-known novels. Some of her more popular works are, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, and Sense & Sensibility.
Jane Austen has one quote that I believe is very true for most women, “Next to being married, a girl likes to be crossed in love a little now and then.” This quote to I means that women love to be loved. I would dare someone to find a woman who does not want to be loved, if the person did find such a woman, the woman would be a liar. I also believe that a women enjoys being married the majority of the time, but if marriage is yet in the picture, then the women simply wants love. Most downfalls that led to affairs and break-ups, is because the lady feels unloved. For instances, if a man ignores his wife, or girlfriend, and puts his love into his car or big boy toys, he will lose his human love.
I say all of this because most lassies want to be the thing first in a man hearts. And if marriage is not for the fellow quite yet, a woman just wants to be crossed in love. Love is a funny trick to some. And to others it’s a splendid feeling. But all in all every mistress wants her mister’s love and affection.
Jane Austen, to I, is a great woman with her writing. I indulge in her words and breath in her thoughts. Her quote, “Next to being married, a girl likes to be crossed in love a little now and then.” (Jane Austen) agrees with how I feel. More than anything I want to be loved. And I know even the man wants to be loved. But naturally that would go against the man code to admit that.
All in all, Jane Austen is a wonderful writer, and her quotes and books are very inspirational. And I believe if we look into what she is saying, we will find things that she said then, still are in effect today.
